- The Kaiser study looked at outcomes for 43,886 pregnant women who had not been vaccinated. They included 1,332 who tested positive for the COVID-19, and they were 2.5 times more likely to have a blood clot than uninfected women
- Of those women who tested positive for COVID-19, 76 (5.7%) women experienced a severe medical condition
- 143 (nearly 11%) of the women who tested positive delivered a preterm baby
